I am not your typical tax professional. What makes me different is that I make my services personable because behind every brand, behind every business, and behind every entrepreneurial venture is a person who may not be very excited to do their taxes or may have received a notice from the IRS. I don't just do you taxes and call it a day. I stand behind my work and if any work that I have performed falls under a review or an audit by the IRS, I got your back. As long as you did not leave any forms behind that should have been filed or any earnings that you should have reported, I can help you at no cost. Why I Got Involved With Taxes
My whole reason is not just the money, but rather the personal struggle that I have been through due to my lack of knowledge of taxes and how to run a business appropriately. I have struggled in the past and paid higher taxes than necessary due to too many wrong assumptions and ill advice that I was given. I also struggled with my marketing and have nearly closed the doors of one of my businesses. I am not the type of person who thinks that knowledge should be privatized but rather a collective mind who thinks that we can learn together and find success not only at filing your taxes appropriately but at helping your business grow. I have found strategies that can help businesses that are local with owners who have not thought it was possible to reach and service clients who are miles and miles away, outside of the normal service areas. Thanks to the microcomputers we have in our pockets called smartphones, so much more is possible.
The Type of Clients That I Like to Work With
I enjoy working with those who are honest to themselves and are ready to explore the expansion of their businesses, getting their taxes done, understanding how this process tells a story about their business, and exploring new ideas to potentially expand their earnings in new ways thanks to modern technology. It’s OK if clients are extroverts or really shy. I can work with both. What I aim is to work with honest people who are not looking to cut risky corners just to save some money. That strategy tends to have serious consequences, and I don't' wish the potential consequences on anyone.
My Hobbies and Entertainment
When I am not doing business related stuff, reading an interesting book, or watching a movie at the theater, I am doing Brazilian Jiujitsu with my close friends and relatives. Even my children enjoy grappling and boxing. It has united my family and just like taxes, I think everyone should learn grappling and at least one other martial art.
Confession
I must confess that my background is not just on taxation. Although I have passed the IRS enrolled agent specialty exams and the Oregon Licensed tax consultant exam, I am also an approved candidate to take the CPA exams, I am currently a licensed behavior analyst, and a data scientist by profession. This competitive advantage allows me to help you in ways that very few tax professionals can. Not only can I do your taxes and represent you in front of the IRS if they knock on your door, but I can also show you strategies to change habits that hold you back and maybe even habits that keep you disorganized. My goals are to help you understand how taxes tell a story behind your business and even create plans that may boost your strategic advantage in the market that you are competing in. So What Do I Value The Most?
Entrepreneurship, freedom, and opportunity because this are the foundations of our country and what has attracted so many people to have some type of American dream. I see homeless people on the streets, poverty, and people struggling to buy groceries. This is not what my grandfather and father had in mind for me and our future generations. I am willing to bet that it is not something that your ancestors had in mind either. How I see it, it is up to us to make the changes and enter the business world so we can build value in our lives and leave something for our children.
